# Frequency

The **Frequency** module allows you to define and manage frequencies, which are used to specify how often organizational activities should occur.

## How Settings Are Applied <a href="#how-settings-are-applied" id="how-settings-are-applied"></a>

Frequencies defined in this module appear in the **Frequency** dropdown of the [**Create Management Review**](/interfacing-help-files/interfacing-help-files-fr/auditeurs/management-review-application/creer-et-gerer-des-revues-de-direction/creer-une-revue-de-direction.md) form.

## Defining & Managing Frequencies

Follow these steps to create and maintain frequencies:

### Defining Frequencies

Click **Add** to create a new frequency. A new row will appear in the grid.

* **Active:** Select to make the option visible in the **Frequency** dropdown. Leave unselected to hide it.
* **Frequency:** Enter a descriptive name or title for the frequency.

If needed, provide translations in the supported languages:

* **English (default)**

* **French**

* **Arabic**

* **German**

* **Day Count:** Enter the number of days associated with the frequency (e.g., 7 for Weekly, 30 for Monthly).

### Managing Frequencies

Once a frequency is defined, the following actions are available:

* **Edit:** Click directly in a grid cell to modify its contents.
* **Delete** ( <i class="fa-trash-can">:trash-can:</i> ): Click to remove a frequency.

Confirm deletion by clicking **Save&#x20;**~~**Changes**~~ or clicking outside the grid. To cancel, click **Discard Changes** or **Undo** ( <i class="fa-rotate-left">:rotate-left:</i> ).
