# Project

Define and manage strategic initiatives or projects relevant to your organization.

## Overview

The **Project** module allows you to define and manage projects, which represent specific initiatives with defined goals, timelines, and budgets.

## How Settings Are Applied

Projects defined in this module appear in the **Project** dropdown in both the **Risk** and **Change Request** applications.

## Defining & Managing Projects

Follow these steps to create, edit, and maintain projects:

### Defining Projects

Click **Add** to create a new project. A new row will appear in the grid.

* **Active:** Select to make the option visible in the **Project** dropdown. Leave unselected to hide it.
* **Project:** Enter a descriptive name or title for the project.

### Managing Projects

Once a project is defined, the following actions are available:

* **Edit:** Click directly in a grid cell to modify its contents.

### Saving & Discarding Changes

* [**Save Changes**](#user-content-fn-1)[^1]**:** Click to apply modifications.
* **Discard Changes:** Click to revert any unsaved modifications.
