# Supprimer un objet

Le point de terminaison `DELETE /items/{nodeId}` permet de supprimer des objets dans IMS. Il prend notamment en charge la synchronisation de données depuis un système externe vers IMS :

* Synchronisation par un script intégré au système externe. Le point de terminaison de mise à jour peut aussi être nécessaire.
* Suppression d’objets via des webhooks, par exemple avec des intégrations Jira.

* L’UID est toujours disponible dans le panneau de détails de l’élément dans IMS.

## À quelle fonctionnalité IMS cela correspond-il ?

Les utilisateurs disposant au moins de l’autorisation **Supprimer** peuvent retirer des objets directement dans l’application web IMS. Cela inclut les administrateurs d’environnement et les administrateurs système. La suppression d’un objet entraîne celle de tous ses objets enfants.

Les utilisateurs autorisés accèdent à la fonction de suppression avec le bouton **Modifier**, dans la liste de la Bibliothèque ou dans le panneau de détails de tout objet IMS. La vue de liste de la Bibliothèque prend également en charge la suppression en masse.
