### Review Training Request

Review the request to understand the trainee’s needs and confirm the training can be supported.

<table data-card-size="large" data-view="cards"><thead><tr><th></th><th></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>✅ <strong>Training Availability</strong></td><td>Does the requested training already exist in the system?</td></tr><tr><td>✅ <strong>Alignment</strong></td><td>Does the training align with organizational goals, role requirements, or development plans?</td></tr><tr><td>✅ <strong>Feasibility</strong></td><td>Can the training be delivered within current resources and constraints?</td></tr></tbody></table>

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Determine Training Availability

Confirm whether the requested training matches an existing program or if a new training must be created.

* **Does This Training Already Exist?:** Indicate whether the requested training is already available.
  * If <mark style="color:blue;">**Yes**</mark>, select an existing training from the dropdown (only active and approved trainings are shown)

    * If no training is selected, the request is treated as rejected.

    <div data-gb-custom-block data-tag="hint" data-style="warning" class="hint hint-warning"><p>After submitting, assign the requestor as a trainee by updating the training in the <a href="/interfacing-help-files/learning-and-development/managing-trainings-apps/tracking-and-monitoring-trainings/training-list.md"><strong>Training List</strong></a> module. The training definition then undergoes <a href="/interfacing-help-files/learning-and-development/managing-trainings-apps/creating-and-managing-trainings/review-training.md">review </a>to finalize the assignment.</p></div>
  * If <mark style="color:blue;">**No**</mark>, indicate whether you will create a new training.

    * If <mark style="color:blue;">**Yes**</mark> (default), click <i class="fa-square-plus">:square-plus:</i> to create a new training.

    * If <mark style="color:blue;">**No**</mark>, the request is treated as rejected and no further action is required.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://interfacing.gitbook.io/interfacing-help-files/learning-and-development/managing-trainings-apps/requesting-and-participating-in-trainings/review-training-request.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
