### Review Assessment

Review the risk assessment to ensure it is complete, accurate, and appropriately addresses the risks within the assessment scope. Consider the following:

<table data-card-size="large" data-view="cards"><thead><tr><th></th><th></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>✅ <strong>Risk Identification &#x26; Evaluation</strong></td><td>Have all relevant risks been identified, clearly described, and appropriately assessed for impact, probability, and detectability?</td></tr><tr><td>✅ <strong>Analysis &#x26; Supporting Information</strong></td><td>Does the assessment include sufficient analysis, supporting evidence, and documentation to justify the conclusions reached?</td></tr><tr><td>✅ <strong>Risk Treatment Actions</strong></td><td>If actions are defined, are they relevant, proportionate, and likely to effectively reduce or control the identified risks?</td></tr><tr><td>✅ <strong>Overall Completeness</strong></td><td>Is the assessment complete, internally consistent, and ready for approval or further processing?</td></tr></tbody></table>

***

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Schedule Next Assessment Period

Define the start and end dates for the next assessment period, ensuring timely future assessments.

<p align="center"><kbd><strong>IMAGE</strong></kbd></p>

{% hint style="info" %}
When the specified **Start of Next Assessment Period** date arrives, the system will automatically trigger a risk reassessment, assigning the [**Execute Risk Assessment**](/interfacing-help-files/risk-analysts/risk-application/creating-and-managing-risk-assessments/execute-risk-assessment.md) task to the designated lead risk assessor.

* Reassessments can also be triggered on an ad-hoc basis. For more information on this matter, see [**Initiating Risk Reassessments**](/interfacing-help-files/risk-analysts/risk-application/initiating-risk-reassessments.md).
  {% endhint %}

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Provide Feedback

Use the **Comments** field to share feedback, ask questions, or request clarification.

<p align="center"><kbd><strong>IMAGE</strong></kbd></p>

{% hint style="info" %}

#### Commenting Guidelines

Comments remain visible throughout the workflow for transparency and communication.

* You can **edit**, **delete**, or **reply** to your own comments.
* You can **reply** to others' comments but cannot edit or delete them.
  {% endhint %}

***

{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Finalize Review

From the **Task Resolution** dropdown, select one of the following actions:

* **Approve**

  Approve the risk assessment, concluding the workflow.
* **Reject**

  Reject the risk assessment, returning it to the lead assessor for revisions or additional information.

  → Next Step: [Modify Risk Assessment](/interfacing-help-files/risk-analysts/risk-application/creating-and-managing-risk-assessments/modify-risk-assessment.md)

After selecting the appropriate resolution, click **Submit** to finalize your review and advance the workflow.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://interfacing.gitbook.io/interfacing-help-files/risk-analysts/risk-application/creating-and-managing-risk-assessments/review-risk-assessment.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
