Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://interfacing.gitbook.io/interfacing-help-files/learning-and-development/managing-trainings-apps.md). # Managing Trainings (Apps) Use the Training application to create, manage, and track organizational trainings. ## Overview The **Training** application manages training activities through two interconnected workflows: * **Training Program Management** — governs the creation, review, and approval of training programs * **Training Participation** — manages enrollment requests, training delivery, completion, and verification Together, these workflows support the full training lifecycle, from program definition and approval through to delivery and completion. {% hint style="info" %} All training records are logged, assigned, and tracked in a centralized system, ensuring visibility, accountability, and compliance with organizational standards. {% endhint %} *** ## Application Prerequisites Before users can work with the **Training** application, administrators must configure the following settings:

Training Settings

**Frequency** * Define the regular intervals at which trainings are scheduled to occur. **Priority** * Define the levels of urgency or importance used to categorize trainings. **Source** * Define the origins or triggers of trainings. **Location** * Define the geographical or operational areas where trainings apply.

Click the **Apps** tile in the side navigation bar. 2. On the **Apps** page, either: * Expand **Training** in the navigation tree, or * Navigate to the **Training** section in the application gallery.

New Training	Use this module to create and submit a new training for review and approval.
Training List	Use this module to view all submitted trainings, tracking progress through the workflow.
My Trainings	Use this module to view trainings assigned to you as a participant.
My Trainings to Deliver (as an Instructor)	Use this module to view trainings you are assigned to deliver as an instructor.
My Department's Trainings	Use this module to view trainings associated with your department.
Training History Report	Use this module to view completed trainings and historical training records.
Request to Take a Training	Use this module to request participation in a training.
Training Instance Reminder	Use this module to send reminders to responsible users for pending trainings.
