Use it to browse, search, and open content relevant to your work. *** ## Interactive Tour Start with the interactive walkthrough to learn the layout and key features of the module. {% @howdygo/embed url="" fullWidth="true" %} *** ## Accessing Documentation You can access documentation from several areas across the platform. {% tabs %} {% tab title="From the Library" %} Use this option to explore the full documentation repository. * Select the **Library** tile in the side navigation bar. * The module opens in the main workspace, displaying an organized view of available content.

{% endtab %} {% tab title="From Home or Favorites" %} Use this option for quick access to frequently visited content. * Go to **Favorites** or the **My Documentation** widget on the **Home Page**. * Select an item to open it in the side panel. * Use the **breadcrumb trail** to navigate to related items.

{% endtab %} {% endtabs %} *** ## Documentation Views Documentation is available in two views, each sourced from a different content database. #### Published View (Default) * Displays the **most recently published** version of each item. * Intended for general users requiring **stable**, **validated content**. #### Latest View (Restricted Access) * Displays the **most current** version of each item, whether published or in progress. * Intended for administrators and content editors actively **reviewing** or **updating material**. {% hint style="danger" %} During **Phase 1**, only the **Published View** is available. {% endhint %} *** ## Working with Documentation Follow the steps below to browse and interact with documentation: {% stepper %} {% step %} ### Browsing Documentation The **Library** module offers two primary ways to browse content. {% hint style="warning" %} To ensure search results and lists remain relevant, certain items, called **Artifacts**, are hidden from view. {% endhint %} #### Library Tree * Use the **Library Tree** to navigate documentation through a structured hierarchy. * To expand or collapse an item, select the arrow next to it or select the item itself. * When you select an item, its contents appear in the **List View**.

{% hint style="success" icon="lightbulb" %} **Tip:** Use the **breadcrumb trail** at the top of the workspace to navigate back through levels. * Select the **three-dot** ( ) icon to reveal any levels hidden from the trail. {% endhint %} *** {% endstep %} {% step %} ### Finding Documentation Refine your view to quickly locate the information you need. #### Search Use the **Keyword Filter** to find documentation by title, object type, content, or identifiers. #### Filters Use **Quick Filters** or **All Filters** to narrow results by status, category, role, or other attributes. *** {% endstep %} {% step %} ### Viewing Documentation The **Details Panel** (also called **Details View**) is the primary interface for reading documentation.

To open the **Details Panel**, select **View Details** from the **More Options** ( **⋮** ) menu wherever it appears.

You can also use the following shortcuts: * **Library Tree:** Select a child item (one without sub-items). * **List View:** Double-click a child item. * **Toolbar:** Click **Details** for the currently selected item. {% hint style="info" %} Once open, the panel updates automatically as you select different items. * It retains your current view (**Preview** or **Details**) whenever possible, switching only if the selected item does not support that mode. {% endhint %} {% hint style="success" %} For more information, see[ **Exploring the Details Panel**](/interfacing-help-files/end-users/library/exploring-the-details-panel.md). {% endhint %} *** {% endstep %} {% step %} ### Acting on Documentation Use the available tools to follow, collaborate on, and work with documentation.
